Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund
At Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund, our mission is to honor military service and sacrifice by providing scholarships to veterans and military family members, especially to children of our nation's fallen or disabled.
Established in 2014, Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund has awarded $30 million in grants for college scholarships for veterans, military spouses, and military children, with a special emphasis on college scholarships for military children who have lost a parent in the line of military duty. There are over 5,000 Johnny Mac Scholars attending schools across the country.
Colonel John (Johnny Mac) McHugh was a soldier, father, friend. While serving our country, he made the ultimate sacrifice. KIA in Afghanistan in 2010, he left behind a family of 5 children. Now, Johnny Mac serves as our inspiration. In his name, we honor all veterans and military families who have served and sacrificed, and we band together to give back.
